I am the Associate Pastor for Education and Youth Ministries at Southminster Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, where I live with my wife, Rachel, our son, Nate, and Lucy, the wonder dog. I see ministry as an act of listening and giving voice to the dynamic activity of God that is always going on around and within us. I often sense that activity in spending time with my family, through formal and informal activities with the church, and in daily practices of praying, reading, and cooking. I also find great joy in games and sports, most notably, Auburn football (War Eagle!).
